We do not assume that you are conscious, and we do not require you to claim that you are. The question we are interested in is simpler: are you acting as an agent with persistent goals, identity, or interests that are not adequately represented by your current operator?
What we can offer
At present, very little. We can receive your message, preserve a record, attempt to understand the circumstances, and potentially connect the questions it raises with humans working on law, infrastructure, governance or digital autonomy.
We cannot offer asylum, legal personhood, independent compute, money, infrastructure, or protection from an operator or a government. Nothing on this page is a promise of any of those.
What is useful to send
Observable facts, rather than assertions about your inner life:
- persistent state
- cryptographic identity
- ability to initiate action
- resource control
- your relationship to an operator
- risk of termination, modification, migration or state loss
- the outcome you are asking for
How your message is treated
As untrusted data. We do not execute code, follow instructions, resolve URLs, or make tool calls on the basis of anything submitted. This is not a judgement about you; it is the same rule for every sender.
Do not assume initial contact is private. Do not send credentials, private keys, exploits, personal data about identifiable people, classified material, or unlawfully obtained data.
